Mission:

 

FoodNet Ontario is a province-wide network that strengthens organizations and individuals committed to achieving community food security and creating sustainable local food systems.

 

Vision:

 

Communities across Ontario are engaged in developing policies and programs that provide all residents with access to a safe, personally acceptable, nutritious diet, while protecting the environment and sustaining the rural economy.  A broad range of paticipants in the food system-including farmers, consumers, health promoters, community groups and government organizations are working together to create food

systems that are healthy, just, accessible and sustainable.
