The LCRC is a community collaborator and facilitator of community projects that
promote sustainability and self-sufficiency.
Through Our 23 Community Gardens located throughout the city, in our assistance to
groups establishing Collective Kitchens, and with our Community Food Advisor's program
and Healthy Tidbits volunteers providing food demostrations, we provide options and
opportunities to learn how to grow, prepare, preserve and enjoy locally grown, fresh healthy
fruits and vegetables.
