resource to foster community action
The LCRC is a community collaborator and facilitator of community projects that promote sustainability and self-sufficiency.
Through the many Community Gardens located throughout the city, in our assistance to groups establishing Collective Kitchens, and with our Community Food Advisor program and Healthy Tidbits volunteers providing food demostration's, we provide options and opportunities to learn how to grow, prepare, preserve and enjoy locally grown, fresh healthy
fruits and vegetables.
