Cook It Up! Session #5 -- Photo Gallery   A TRIP TO DWARF TREE

Below are some of the images captured during what proved to be a well-received, fun and educational session

for the youth involved. The next Cook It Up! Session takes place Oct. 19, 2009, at 825 Central

Avenue, 6 p.m.  Guest Chef will be Stephanie Bishop from Bakewell and, of course, apples will be the featured

ingredient.

The London Community Resource Centre's community-

collaborative pilot project, Cook It Up!, held its fifth session

Oct. 5, 2009, and the youth participants were treated to

a trip to pick fresh apples at Dwarf Tree Orchards, 1697

Byron Baseline Rd., in London.

The youth were permitted to roam the orchards, learn about

and pick a wide variety of apples, which will be used in an

upcoming baking class, Oct. 19.

*** A big thanks to the folks at Dwarf Tree Orchards for their hospitality and generosity in providing the wonderful venue for the second Cook It Up! fieldtrip and deliciously fresh apples for our upcoming baking session.
