indulged in the prepartation of a vegetable salad and some very tasty chicken pot pies. In addition, the youth
were provided with some Holiday Season recipes to prepare for their families over the festive season.
Below are some of the images captured during what proved to be a hectic, but extremely exciting and
educational session for the youth involved. The next Cook It Up! Session takes place in the new year, Jan 11,
2010, and will involve the creation of homemade pizza.
The London Community Resource Centre's
community-collaborative pilot project, Cook It Up!, held
its Holiday cooking session Dec. 14, 2009, and
saw the youth participants continue in their efforts to
prepare chicken in a variety of ways.
The class was led by Chef Chris Meloche, Flavour in Time
Catering, and Chef Andrew Wolwowicz, The Crave
Restaurant, and the enthusiastic participants eagerly
