Community Gardeners invited to get in on the discussion
A new province-wide community garden discussion forum at FoodNet Ontario
The London Community Resource Centre has begun a new discussion forum for community
gardeners across the province, providing all community gardeners in London and throughout
Ontario with the ability to share tips, express concerns and communicate with one another on a
simple and informative platform at FoodNet Ontario's website.
To take part in the discussion forum interested gardeners must obtain a free membership with
FoodNet Ontario.
By following the steps below, gardeners can log in and start communicating:
* Go to http://www.foodnetontario.ca/wp
* Click "Get Involved" on the left side menu
* Go to "membership form" and fill out the form. FoodNet Ontario will send an e-mail confirming
your new membership and allowing you to set up a user name and password
(memberships are generally processed on a weekly basis).
* Once these steps are complete and you have logged into the FoodNet Ontario website, click on
"Discussion Forum" on the right side of the home page.
* Scroll down to "General Discussions" and click on "Community Gardens Issues"
* The proverbial lines of communication are now open and one can either post a reply to an
ongoing discussion or start a new discussion.
Please note: Interested gardeners can also contact FoodNet Ontario by e-mail or regular mail.
