Saturday, May 23, 2009, saw the official kick-off for the gardening season at the Oakville

Garden site, located at Church of Christ, 1750 Huron Street, on land donated by the church. The

garden site has been expanded from 9 plots in 2008 to 25 in 2009.

The Saturday afternoon garden launch was a good time for all, with the church organizing and

putting on a barbecue and facepainting, plus an inflatable big slide and a bouncy castle for the

kids.
