Community Food Advisor Recruitment

Do you have knowledge and a passion for healthy, affordable food? Would you

like to share that passion with others in the community after receiving

valuable training and certification.

The London Community Resource Centre is looking for committed, responsible

and compassionate individuals who are interested in becoming a Community

Food Advisor.

The Community Food Advisor program is one of several food-security related

initiatives facilitated by the London Community Resource Centre. The program

aims to improve safe and nutritious food selection and proper food storage by

providing accurate information through a variety of related presentations to

interested groups and organizations within the Middlesex-London community.

Given the continuous and diverse growth of our community’s population, the

London Community Resource Centre’s Community Food Advisor Program is

proactively seeking volunteers with the ability to deliver the program content

to a variety of new Canadians and cultures. In turn, these communities within

the community can carry the program message on to friends, family and

neighbours.

Additionally, the LCRC's Community Food Advisor program will be reaching out to Middlesex-London rurual communities seeking CFA volunteers.
